Corporate Merchandise Assistant

• Responsible and accountable to make recommendations on pricing each month by state based on impact to Sales, Margin and Inventory results
• Identify and resolve issues and concerns on product availability and item set up with vendors and stores
• Support the buyer in Category Management process by compiling data to deliver reportable solutions
• Exception Reporting for Accuracy for Item Set up on/maintenance

Qualifications:

• 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of the retail industry; understanding of specific category product lines and core customer behavior
• Results focused; uses performance targets and goals to drive own activities as well as help team succeed
• Office computer skills; able to learn company systems and tools
• Excel intermediate level
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with attention to detail and time Management
• Ability to gather and interpret data for various reports, as appropriate
