This is a great opportunity to begin a career in electro-mechanical maintenance with a stable and growing company! Qualified technicians must be mechanically inclined. Experience in automotive, HVAC, or graduates from a trad school are an excellent fit for this role which will provide growth opportunity. This position will begin as a 4 – 5 month contract to hire.
Responsibilities/skills:
- Learn and train on different maintenance aspects including basic repairs with things like conveyor systems, forklifts, pallet racks, as well as plumbing and electrical work
- Material handling equipment maintenance
- Other facility maintenance duties with sprinkler systems, dock levelers, and more
- Learn to use tools and diagnostic equipment
- Potential to work at heights up to 35 feet, must be able to access lifts, catwalks, or platforms
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude
- High school diploma or GED. Vocational/technical training/certifications preferred
- Eagerness to build a career in maintenance including growing mechanical and electrical knowledge/skills
- Flexible on shift or on-call work
