Healthcare Concierge

(Full Time & Part Time Shifts)

We are seeking a highly motivated and service-minded individual to join our Helen team as a Healthcare Concierge. The Helen Team is an innovative healthcare solution that elevates patient experience and allows nurses to practice at the top of their license. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals at leading hospitals. As a Healthcare Concierge, your primary responsibility will be to fulfill a large range of non-clinical patient and nurse requests for items and tasks within a hospital unit. These requests are non-clinical in nature, and include delivering care products and nourishment to patients; along with assisting nurses with delivering and transporting equipment, labs, and other items. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. Must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a proactive approach to fulfilling tasks throughout the day. You should also be comfortable working in a healthcare environment and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work in collaboration with nurses, environmental staff, and nutrition staff members to ensure a safe and pleasant patient experience

• Greet patients and families in a compassionate and respectful manner

• Provide excellent customer service to patients from admission to discharge

• Assist nursing staff with patient care responsibilities, which includes bringing patients requested personal items (blankets, pillows, toiletries, clothing) and assist with room atmosphere (temperature, television, window shades, and light control)

• Assist nursing staff with restocking rooms, delivering labs, delivering medical supplies, and moving equipment

• Assist and educate patients on using the Helen app to make non-clinical requests through voice and application

 

The ideal candidate has:

• Experience in customer service and customer-facing roles

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying tasks throughout the day

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong customer service orientation

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once

• Comfort interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures

• Ability to be on your feet or walking around for the majority of the day

• A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system

• Certain immunizations/vaccinations (including Covid-19 vaccination) required due to healthcare/patient-facing setting
