Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of quality.
- Meet production schedules.
- Adhere to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Maintain appropriate documentation.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Machine Operator II:
- Two years of experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment or equivalent technical school/apprentice experience.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to convert decimals to fractions and vice versa.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting problems and knowledge of machines and tools.
- Ability to follow and understand workplace procedures.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication about safety and quality issues.
- Preferred SAP and powered industrial truck experience.
- Preferred experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, and/or packaging industries.
Machine Operator III (In addition to the above requirements):
- Three years of experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment or equivalent technical school/apprentice experience.
- Specific experience with paper converting machines or similar equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of machines and material processes.
- Experience with plant production software.
- Five years of experience preferred.
