Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of quality.
• Meet production schedules.
• Adhere to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Maintain appropriate documentation.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

Machine Operator II:

• Two years of experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment or equivalent technical school/apprentice experience.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to convert decimals to fractions and vice versa.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting problems and knowledge of machines and tools.
• Ability to follow and understand workplace procedures.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication about safety and quality issues.
• Preferred SAP and powered industrial truck experience.
• Preferred experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, and/or packaging industries.

Machine Operator III (In addition to the above requirements):

• Three years of experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment or equivalent technical school/apprentice experience.
• Specific experience with paper converting machines or similar equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of machines and material processes.
• Experience with plant production software.
• Five years of experience preferred.
