Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our industrial facilities, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems within the facility.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and implement effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and boiler issues, such as faulty components, leaks, and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies, and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to address issues and prevent disruptions to operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, and other mechanical equipment
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and external service providers to coordinate maintenance activities and support facility operations.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems to restore HVAC and boiler functionality and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair related issues.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and boiler systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
