Mechanical Pre-Commissioning Technician
Job Duties (including but not limited to):
- Reading and interpreting conveyor blueprints and manuals (i.e. identify unit number, conveyor location in building, etc.)
- Reading and interpreting conveyor installation manuals
- Inspect, adjust, and monitor conveyor systems and components
- Assemble and/or disassemble conveyor components as needed to ensure they are installed and operator efficiently
- Document work performed and changes made and report to leadership, engineering, and other site personnel as needed
- Cooperating and communicating effectively with key project personnel (project manager, lead engineers, Site Supervisor and the client.)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED Required – College or course work or equal experience in your field desired
- Mechanical Skills required
- Experience working with conveyor systems desired
- Understanding of electrical systems, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, and air operated components
- Exhibit strong trouble-shooting skills and able to resolve equipment malfunctions
- Intermediate computer knowledge. Experience with MS Excel and Outlook email.
- You must be in good physical condition, and be able to work in different types of environments and climates.
