Responsibilities/skills:
• Initiate machine process, make adjustments within process tolerance, and recommend any changes for improved efficiencies to the Molding Process Engineering Manager
• Continually monitor all processes related to injection molding to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently
• Analyze and resolve any process problem and product non-conformity issues that may arise per the request
• Assist the Molding Process Engineer in the set-up and start-up of new tools and resins for trial Teamwork skills and actively participate in team meetings
• Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures to provide for a safe and healthful workplace
• Document your production metrics daily and maintain proper ergonomics
• Work with the maintenance area and will be responsible for the machining unit assigned to it regarding the services it needs, its maintenance, 5’S, and daily improvement.
Qualifications:
• 1- 3 years of similar manufacturing experience
• Plastic Injection molding experience and a strong understanding of quality and mechanical troubleshooting
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement as well as strong attention to detail
