Quality Manager

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. We are looking for leadership skills that encourage cross-functional teams and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
• Track and monitor KPI’s and implement new strategies to achieve quality goals
• Lead by example and promote safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Implement quality systems and maintain quality control objectives
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
• Promote Lean Manufacturing standards and lead Kaizen projects from “cradle to grave”

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
• 5+ years’ supervisory experience
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
