What You Will Do in This Role:
- Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including tasks such as belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to ensure efficient equipment performance.
- Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuitry.
- Construct and complete work orders within the asset management system, recording in-depth data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts employed.
- Troubleshoot conveyance issues and figure out resources needed to resolve them successfully.
- Locate and track spare parts inventory to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure all systems meet strict specifications.
- Assist with training customers to confidently operate equipment.
- Respond promptly to service calls and address equipment failures and faults accurately. Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them efficiently.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
- An Associate’s degree or vocational technical training is preferred, and specialized skill training/certification is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrates a senior-level knowledge possessing 1+ years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
- Proven experience in area of responsibility with a successful track record of performing the key tasks listed above.
