Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sales Compensation Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, administering, and analyzing our sales compensation programs to drive sales performance and achieve company goals. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, finance, and HR to ensure fair and competitive compensation strategies that motivate and reward our sales teams.

Responsibilities/skills:

  • Develop, implement, and manage sales compensation plans, including base salaries, commissions, bonuses, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct regular audits of sales compensation data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance data, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to compensation plans to optimize sales performance.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement new compensation strategies and address pay equity concerns.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to benchmark compensation practices and ensure our offerings remain competitive.
  • Develop and maintain compensation-related reports and dashboards to track performance and provide insights to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws.
  • Participate in special projects, including system implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and compensation reviews.
  • Provide training and guidance to sales managers and team members on compensation policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales compensation administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of sales compensation principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with compensation software and tools (e.g., Workday, SAP) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Certification in Compensation (e.g., CCP, CPP).
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or integration projects.
  • Familiarity with sales performance management (SPM) tools.
